Day 6: Pancakes with Toasted Brown Sugar Bananas:
My kids LOVE pancakes (who doesn't, though) but they are only getting half the story because we don't typically use syrup. Instead we use the juices from our fruit of choice to moisten up the hotcakes. Pancakes get a bad rap but they can be healthy and delicious!
I can't explain it but this Velata Raclette seriously makes the best pancakes I've ever had. Somehow it perfectly cooks the inside without over drying and then sorta' crisps the outside. It's pure perfection!
The dishes under the main grill are great for individual servings of fruit. This morning we did bananas but you could have 8 different fruit choices to choose from. Yummo!
